I suppose it is to get the bidding started but it just pisses me of
Just start the bloody thing at bottom price

Should this be in the bitchen section Embarassed sorry

Have to say I feel the same way mate
It is I guess to encourage bidding but dont work for me. He also has a "Buy it now" so guessing thats the reserve?

I just work out what is the very minimum I would take and start there

Tho the guy has advertised it wrong (Centennial model not Anniversary)

That would be a great buy! 8 grand is a good price

Centennial is actually my favourite model anyway.

I have been raving about this bike that was 8 grand and comes with a 904 wiseco kit (not fitted) as well as heaps more

AND
<
<
Elvis has bought it!!!
Dont think he is gonna sell me 904 kit but i can keep trying Wink

Triumph Bonny,100Yr.limited edition model in good condition.Have original certificate and owners books. Also have original mufflers and air injection bits. It has had the air box and carb rejet mods and 1 tooth upgearing.i also have and will give to purchaser a Wiseco 904 big bore kit which I never got round to fitting. There is a couple of minor marks and a very small dent in the tank that is hard to see from previos owner minor spill. If these things ever get colectable the limited editions will do the best.

Owner of the modded centenary must be thinking the same way Boof. As he has now removed the reserve and added a "Buy it now" $9,995

The Buy it now was $10,250 last time he listed. If i wait a few months I may get it with cash thrown in Cool

Just found this post Boof - but I'll agree with you, what I did when I listed the sporty was start it 99c no reserve highest bidder got it BUT to cover myself I did put in a clause whereby I would remove it under certain circumstances - it sold for $6,350 *shrug*

$8,700 All serious offers considered.

Up for sale is my Centennial Limited Edition Triumph Bonneville T100.
The Lucifer Orange/Silver colour of the bike is now considered unique as it was one of the last few bikes to come off the production line before the Triumph factory burned down in 2002.
Mechanically A1, nothing to spend.

Specs:
ENGINE -
Type: Air-cooled, DOHC, parallel twin, 360 degree firing interval.
Capacity: 800cc
Bore/Stroke: 86 x 68mm
Compression Ratio: 9.2:1
Fuel System: Twin carburettors, with throttle position sensor and electric carburettor heaters.
Ignition: Digital - inductive type.

TRANSMISSION -
Primary Drive: Gear
Final Drive: X ring chain
Clutch: Wet, multi plate
Gearbox: 5 Speed

Maximum Power: 62PS (61bhp) at 7,400rpm
Maximum Torque: 60Nm (44.3ft.lbf) at 3,500rpm

Rego runs out on June this year (2012).
I have receipts for most if not all of the work done on the bike as well as a few spare parts and accessories.

Extremely regretful sale, but this beautiful bike has to go as I don't have the time to ride it anymore.

SOLD

Triumph Bonneville 2002 100 th Aniversary model

Always amazes me that actual owners of Centennials call them Anniversaries?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140717233132&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1123

My Triumph T100 limited anniversary edition
This is a very nice bike new tyres fitted front and rear
Have changed bars but still have originals if preferred and also have original seat and pipes.
Bike runs and sounds fantastic.
Is in very good condition.

2002 Triumph Bonneville T100 Centennial Limited Edition- Mint Showroom Condition $6990

Quote:
The Triumph Bonneville T100, WOW what a motorcycle. It's sexy, it's cool and it's fast. Basically the Triumph T100 is one of the best motorcycles ever built and an icon.

This is the Best 2002 Triumph Bonneville T100 Centennial for sale in Australia in this amazing condition, with this mileage and with this low price. This is a Limited Edition model celebrating 100 years of Triumph.

Look no further as this is my gorgeous 2002 Bonneville T100 Centennial Limited Edition. All the T100's have the hand painted tank and coachlines and this one has the very sought after Centennial Edition Lucifer Orange and Silver colour scheme with gold pinstripe. You can ask any Triumph dealer and they will tell you that this colour scheme is the most popular as it's timeless and they only made 800 world wide. On the tank there is the feature chrome metal 1960s Triumph emblem, this is bolted on and heavy metal unlike the new ones that are plastic and just stuck on. She has the classic chrome wire wheels that are hand made in Italy and all the chrome extras that come with the T100's. Matching speedo and tachometer along with classic emblems on the sides. The designation T100 comes from the top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h) and it is sold as part of Triumph's "Modern classics" range

Built in Hinkley England and styled by John Mockett and David Stride. This is not the model built in Thailand as they started in late 2007 assembling them there and I would much prefer the English built models. This is also the T100 with the carburettors as in 2008 the T100 went with fuel injection to meet new Euro 3 emissions legislation. Although you can never beat that classic British twin sound. She comes with the great sound of the added Triumph exhausts that are the classic pea shooter shape.

This bike has had only two previous owners and I've never used it in the rain. As you can see by the pictures it is as new and in absolute showroom condition. I even polish under the guards. The paint work and chrome doesn't have a mark on them. It's as if she just rolled off the showroom floor. It has never been dropped or damaged in anyway and has been garaged since new. Both of her tyres are like brand new and you'll notice in the pic's that she comes with her owners manual and full service book and history. As an extra accessory she also comes with a Triumph center stand.

Some of her specifics are:

She has an 800 cc air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin, 360 degree

Power 67 bhp (50 kW) @ 7,500 rpm

Torque is 51 ft·lbf (69 N·m) @ 5,800 rpm

Transmission is a 5-speed gearbox with chain final drive

Wheelbase is 59.1 inches (1,500 mm)

Dimensions are L 87.8 inches (2,230 mm)

W 29.1 inches (740 mm)

H 43.3 inches (1,100 mm)

Seat height is 30.5 inches (770 mm)

Weight is 451 pounds (205 kg)

Fuel capacity is 3.5 imperial gallons (16 litres)

I've had Triumphs for a while now and would not have anything else. They are a dream to drive both on the highway but especially up in the hills and countryside. They purr along with that sweet sound and great performance. She also comes with a Queensland roadworthy certificate.

Does not look like the Certificate, mug and keyring will be included
