I noted the quote "& RIDDEN TO EPPING" and the blued pipes. This changed the bike from a ZERO mile collectible into a nice low mileage bike. In my opinion still too dear at $14,000, at $10,00 it'd be good buying, you'd have to be a fan of the model to pay $12,000. You can get low mileage EFI with the big motor for $12,000. |

Have to say agree with all you wrote. I am a fan. But even I would not pay more than 11 for it. (Even tho they did cost close to 15 new)
I did ask seller question re certificate etc and was told they had certificate but key-ring and mug was not sure. So would get back to me. Never did _________________ www.ratscafe.org

Just looked at listing again and has a question that answers extras
Q: Unfortunately the Redbook price states Trade in price is between $4000 & $4700, & private sale between $5600 & $6700. Hope that you get a good price for your lovely BONNIE.I also bought my last Trumpy from John Fretton's shop. Cheers. 24-Nov-10
A: hI THERE VZZ99 THANKS FOR LOOKING AT TRIUMPH WE HAD BIDS AT $10,100.00 WHEN BIKE WAS AT AUCTION , DONT KNOW IF YOU LOOKED AT BIKE ON AUCTION ? ALSO RED BOOK INFO IS PROBABLY ALRIGHT IF YOU WERE TRADING IN A USED BIKE WITH KLS ON CLOCK , THIS IS A NEW BIKE , WE WERE TOLD BY LOCAL TRIUMPH DEALER IN BATHURST IT IS WORTH ALMOST NEW BIKE PRICE , IF WE FIND THE RIGHT BUYER & KNOWS THE HISTORY OF THI TRIUMPH , YOU DEFINATLEY WONT FIND A 2002 TRUMPY LIKE THIS ONE & IT DOES COME WITH ALL PURCHASE DOCOS & CERTIFICATE , HAT , MUG & KEY RING ETC KIND REGARDS CLAYTON
I think they would now seriously consider an offer of $10,500. And if I could afford to I would do it.
That red book price of 4000 to 4700 to me seems totally wrong! I have never seen any go that for less than high 8's.! _________________ www.ratscafe.org

They said
"YOU DEFINATLEY WONT FIND A 2002 TRUMPY LIKE THIS ONE & IT DOES COME WITH ALL PURCHASE DOCOS & CERTIFICATE , HAT , MUG & KEY RING ETC"
I know of one with 0 miles sitting next to a 50 year LTD also with 0 miles, they are out there and this one was turned into a used second hand bike the day it was RIDDEN away from the dealer. Take the $10,100 it's not a bad deal for both parties. |

The real problem here is that they paid nearly 15 grand for this model and feel that they should not lose more than a grand. I still feel like making an offer on this But really cant afford it. But I keep thinking if I was to offer 10.5 it would be mine at this stage od auction. STOP LOOKING AT IT DAVID!!
Has the guy you know with both Cent and 50 year any plans of selling them in his lifetime or are they purely to store as a very long term investment? _________________ http://www.ratscafe.org

If you can arrange it, why don't you purchase that one and then get about 75% of the money back by selling yours.
And, no my mate isn't selling, but things change, you never know what's around the corner. I also have a second mate also with a 0 mile 50 year in his lounge room, but alas, also not thinking about selling. |

Was a beautiful bike dave, hey get the paint codes, stickers for sidecovers & dual clocks (speedo & tacho) & turn yours into one..........go yaself ($200 paint).
Or throw tank(orange/silver), guards(silver) at a sprayshop-pro painted for under $600.
I have a 77 T140V, the same year the 77 jubilee came out...........at the end of the day, my T140V stock, in non cafe racer form is equal in value......
Also I think the 77 jubilee owners were ripped- they didnt get a hat, key ring or mug-only a certificate!!!!!!!
You can also buy "jubilee kits" for T140V, aswell as "Vetter Hurricane kits" for your stock trident............only you know mwah mwah mwah But Id be honest if for sale....... |

Problem there is I cant see me ever selling mine lol I just love it as well. And as for "paint codes, stickers for sidecovers & dual clocks for mine" Again I just love the way mine looks now. The Centennary will sell for 10,500 for sure and will be a great buy for someone. But wont be me
Could not help myself and contacted seller again. And I am pretty sure they now realise this as well. _________________ http://www.ratscafe.org

Just a 2nd hand bonnie with different paint & a tacho, coffee mug, key ring & certificate.
I could fudge one of those certificates too, did a trade cert for a mate as a joke to his employer. Scanned & photoshopped etc.
After over 8yrs with this company as a boilermaker, some suits in the office wanted to see his trade cert.
He is a qualified boilermaker & I did him a cert as a carpenter.
They didnt say anything to him for a while & mentioned it to a leading hand who was in on the joke. When they mentioned to the leading hand he is a carpenter, not a boilermaker he said "yeah, he does some great cabinet work & can do anything with timber"......
Then I did another trade cert as a "porn star" & he handed that too them too.....a great laugh, nothing beats putting one up the suits!!!! |

Don't knock the suits, somebody has to polish the chairs, that's about all they can do except try to find unnecessary crap for others to do. |
