|
|
Passed on by another club to delegates list.
Quote: | We all use Bald Hill Lookout within the RNP area. A NSW Rider member advises that there is community group there handing out information encouraging the general public to participate in a survey on how you use the reserve and what changes/improvements, if any, you might like to suggest. Their concern is that if everyday, ordinary people don't have a say, the site could be influenced by greedy businesses who would just love to develop the site and charge to use/park there.
The online survey is available UNTIL 13 June.

Personally speaking Im over it. Used to be a top spot to pull up and watch the hang gliders zooming over the ocean. Now you can only play"spot the Aussie" |

On the Taralga run, we stopped at Bald Hill.
The guy approached us, explained it all and we were very happy to sign. _________________ Cheersh,

Don't really know what that's about - but yes - an Aussie bloke,

I'll comment on the "Spot the Aussie" thing. The area in question is my back yard and every day tourist busses pull up full of Asians on a quick "get out, take a photo, get back in" routine. Sure this isn't the world of the 50's I grew up in but we have to get over it and move with the times. The alternative is extinction. |
