I think he might be mistaken about the year too. I don't think they made the oil in frame in models until later in the 70's. Shocked 71? Confused Confused Confused

For 650 twins T102 and TR6R
1970 last oil tank.
1971 first oil in frame.

From memory about 1974 they became 750cc and called T140's.

So if it has a standard conical front brake and 650cc it's a 1971.

A bit hard from that one small photo.
Gotta replace the seat, mufflers and it may have a 16' rear wheel, if so that's $$$ to replace with std.
I'd be thinking about $5K and not be too excited at that.
Ya have to see it in the flesh or high rez photos.

Thanks for that Very Happy Very Happy . That explains the 72 and 73 T120's I've seen that were advertised as oil in frame. Wink Wink He doesn't stand much of a chance of selling it from that 1 poor photo Shocked no way you can gauge condition from that Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I just had another look at the photo, it's also missing the chain guard.

So,
Seat
Mufflers
Chain guard
and I think rear wheel

He calls it a 650 Tiger T140. Has it got 1 or 2 carbs? Tigers have 1, T140's have 2 but are 750's not 650's. He ain't helping himself with that kind of advertising.
