NSW Roads Minister Duncan Gay said the work from Saturday night to Monday night would cause "the mother of all interruptions", as traffic would be restricted to a lane in each direction.
It's part of a $550 million upgrade of the toll road in Sydney's northwest.

"We're not mucking around," Mr Gay told reporters in Sydney on Tuesday.
