think he is trying to sell clothes, not be a pimp
Site is looking good.
A few small things:
1. I noticed that the home page title still says "Untitled 1" on the tabs or title bar at top of IE. This would be your index page. http://wot2wear.com.au/index.html
2. Contacts page, adding your email address as a clear mailto: link makes it prone for spam spiders. There is some java script on the net to "hide" your email from people trying to spam you.
Nice integration with paypal mate! Easiest and best way to shop I think.
Good idea and well pulled off. Now for pushing the marketing machine into action. _________________

Not very computer savvy so not sure where you got into TvZ.
Might need a bit of refining Benny. Not wanting to be a knocker but I was lost.
I opened up the link and it took me to a womans clothing page.
I clicked on "SHOP" thinking it would take me to a heap of other stuff, not just ladies clothes and jewellery, as I tend to shop for me, not her.
Maybe I didn't approach it the right way, but as I said, I'm not real computer savvy and if it isn't simple to find my way around I give up easy.
All the best with your new venture. Will check in from time to time and see if I can get a better grip on it. |

Are your Teeshirt designs veiwable thru this link Benny, or is that being set up separately??
Got to say, thanks for the Rocket Teeshirt you gave me the day I picked my bike up too. Very impressed with the quality of both the shirt and the screen print.
Will have to get a photo taken of it on and post it up here.
I have to be careful where I wear it. Had a harley rider thinkin I was havin a crack at them about there bikes not being real bikes
Took a bit of thinking about how to answer his questions so as to not antagonize the big fella.
You'll all undersatnd what I mean when I post the photo. |

I like the lay-out of site, but not really sure why you have decided on 2 sites rather than just one that covers womans clothes and also covers mens clothes?
Like Cobba said He does not really look for clothes for Robyn so would not use that site. But if had the Tee shirts and designs on same site and was accidently to see something for Robyn, well who knows. And woman do buy for men as well, so all stuff in one place would help them as well
Just my 2 cents worth. _________________ http://www.ratscafe.org

.htaccess file usually takes care of the bulk of spiders with a simple deny, a lot of people turn off javascript because of the many holes it has - easiest fix is a form with a captcha, it won't stop all of them them in fact neither will a .htaccess file PLUS a lot of spammers now just use the domain and address it to for example fred@yoursite.co.uk even though you don't have a fred the spam will still get through as any filtering system in place will deem it legitimate unless you you have a set number/named email accounts and blackhole the rest.
Agreed on the untitled page - never leave a page untitled as you won't get found on search engines and NEVER EVER pay Google for squat!! _________________ Carl

Agreed.
I tend to like javascripts since you can get nice effects without paying a flash developer.
not sure what the insides look like, but can get some search engine attention by adding a robots file and having a well formed sitemap.

Looks like you updated the Title and I looked at the Meta tags. You have a lot. so that might help as well.
Regarding marketing on the net...mmm...that becomes difficult as everyone wants to market but not spend. I saw you already have a facebook page. that might be a good start. Also not sure about paying Google even though they are pretty huge marketing machine. _________________

Too many keywords are a disadvantage, Google ads run a "bid for" basis, you could end up spending a small fortune for little if any return - hints and tips: Good copy is essential - search engines just love well written interesting and precise front page copy, run a blog along side the site and update it regularly, google likes that, video is also a good hook for search engines in particular google seeing as they own youtube, link swapping also helps as well.
If anyone says they can guarantee you first place on Google ask them how much they want for the harbour bridge too - I've got clients on page 1 and in some cases first place with careful wording, good copy and bloody hours of work. Oh and avoid flash, it's on its way out. _________________ Carl
