Just won a pair of shrouds from this mob boof
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-HINKLEY-Bonneville-classic-1960s-look-girling-type-shrouded-shocks-/220902015008?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336ec94020

Also got them as 13 1/2 inch instead of 13 inch, to get a little more height

Company make them so they bush to suit yr bike. So mine are being bushed to suit my Hinckley

Quote:
You are bidding for a brand new pair of classic 60s Classic Period look shrouded shocks with triple rate springs for better handling.
Fits Triumph and BSA models fitted with 13" between centres with 3/8" id mountings, 5 way preload adjustment.
We have designed these shocks to look like Classic Period shocks of the 60's for more of a retro look. We can also supply in chrome with black exposed spring (late Japanese style) or black with chrome spring for standard later look also in shorter or longer than standard lengths. We also have shocks for older and newer Triumph/BSA models in all styles.
You will not be disappointed. If not totally happy return unused within 7 days for full refund

Not got them yet, but Damping and Spring tension is set the same as the standard shocks, according to correspondence with Keith from TEC.

I really liked the fact that there Australian and make them themselves and can custom at same price, which is very low anyway !

But I have run into a hitch. The shrouds can only be made as same size as the stock shocks I have. As I want an extra half inch I may have to go for the open spring style same as i have now.

The confusion came about as he thought I had a Meriden triumph and not a Hinckley. Meriden shocks are half inch shorter than Hinckley Bons.

So now i have to let him know which ones I want ? But dealing with them is real easy. Can see why they have such positive ratings
