Was an avid reader of "Easy Rider" as a younger fella.
Once upon a time I had over 150 of Dave Mann's centre spreads as a collection.
One I remember was of a guy with a broken down bike and his missus walking back along the road in the piss pouring rain looking for the chain off the bike.
He's got half the gear unpacked off the bike trying to fix it and his finger up to the sky making his thoughts known to the gods above.
Such was the detail of Dave Mann's pictures that you could see a spare joining link in the thumb pull of his boot, but apparantly he must of forgot it was there.
Wish my braincells were a bit better and I knew what happened to that collection. Someone scored them off me a long time ago. |
