|
|
IF YOU WERE TO BUY THIS FROM COMPANY. THE ACTUAL POSTAGE IS 60 US BUCKS
Powder coated Saddlebag pannier bracket for a Hinckley Bonneville, Thruxton or Scrambler. Bracket is Ideal for scramblers as it fits on opposite side to exhaust, and would suit Bonny or Thruxton owners who, like me, only want a bag on one side. Left side (Only)
This kit is brand new and still in box with all fittings, instructions and mounting plate. The mounting plate also has the extra bonus of tightening rear end of seat, though dont think company realised that. Once bracket is fitted under seat. The luggage brackets can be removed or fitted easy without seat removal. (Just remove one nut and bolt)
I decided to buy the whole kit, even though I only needed the right side bracket without the mount, to fit a college bag on bike. So I figured it would work out cheaper to have both brackets sent from America as a whole assembly, and sell the left side, with mountings, fittings ,instructions etc. (Postage cost was nearly the same.)
You can see pictures of the bracket with College bag fitted here

I have to say I am very happy with this product, and think it is far better in looks than the original Triumph Chrome ones, and does stop rubbing of bags on any part of the bike (like Triumph ones). Plus it's also far less noticable. But remember, though this is an aftermarket bracket, it is designed for genuine Triumph bags. But of course can be used on other types of bags /saddlebags as well..
Only use one side so other is open to offers or as a swap with something of interest. _________________ http://www.ratscafe.org

How did you decide which side to use and which one to sell ?????
What if you change your mind later ? _________________ Journey in Life, is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting '..holy sh*t ....what a ride!'

Extra's Bong60 are designed for a scrambler, so thats why he chose side he did. I get the impression he dont want to fit 2 |

OK bumping this up because I know what Gan has got me for xmas. And i now dont need left or right side, so will be selling as a complete set.
IF YOU WERE TO BUY THIS FROM COMPANY. THE ACTUAL POSTAGE IS 60 US BUCKS
Powder coated Saddlebag pannier bracket's for a Hinckley Bonneville, Thruxton or ( Scrambler, If use just left side bracket only with mounting plate).
This kit is brand new and still in box with all fittings, instructions and the mounting plate. (Right side only ever used, without mounting plate)
The mounting plate also has the extra bonus of tightening rear end of seat, though dont think company realised that. Once bracket is fitted under seat. The luggage brackets can be removed or fitted easy without seat removal.
I decided to buy the whole kit, even though I only needed the right side bracket (At the time) without the mount, to fit a college bag on bike. So I figured it would work out cheaper to have both brackets sent from America as a whole assembly, and sell the left side, with mountings, fittings ,instructions etc. (Postage cost was nearly the same.)
But now whole kit offered for $75
Will place on Ebay with $75 start price if no interest here

Quote: | From MCResources comes these great looking black powder coated steel Luggage Brackets. They install using MCR’s mounting plate so installation and removal is a snap.
. More robust front mount and crossbar provide the strength to mount heavy bags
. The crossbar design allows Quick Mounts to be easily attached
. Securely maintains ample clearance for luggage from rear wheel and chain
. Solid 5/16" (8mm) steel construction  supports and protects your luggage
. Durable black powder-coat finish
. Can be used with either the Grab Rail or Seat Bar or Seat Rack
. 3 Upper holes in crossbar & a lower ring allows bolting-on almost any bag or easily used for tie-downs on "over-the-seat" saddlebags |
