1. Volunteers needed for Bathurst (This is the only source of income the MCC gets). Sat 29th Sep to 7th October. You get free campling, per diem for food and the chance to show people to their camp sites on quad bikes. You will also get to see the races. 2. Since change of Govt, MCC has built up good relationships with Transport NSW, RMS and the ministers - this is starting to pay off.

3. Still working on more CTP reductions.

4. Working on Toll reductions - agreement in principle reached.

5. Some possible good news about helmets to be released soon - hopefully will allow international standard helmets to be legally worn in OZ. (i.e DOT, Schnell, UK, Europe etc) - Being able to import them will mean some helmets which are not even in this country will become legal and should drop the price of all helmets.

6. Old Pacific highway audit. Send any info you have on hazards to chairman@mccofnsw.org.au

7. MCC has made submittion to transport master plan. Item 1 is for Motorcycles to be recognised as a seperate road user class!

Stan - looks like one wot is a concerned Motorcycle Enthusiast - should do
SOMETHING to help the cause.
Not sure what form my participation would take but I'd at least listen to
what would help?
Hmmmmm - never been to the Bathurst Cars..............

ANyone is welcome to attend the meetings - mind you they sometimes can be mind numbingly boring!

In that Prickle from the old ratbags has written to MCCNSW requesting ratbags link from MCC page (which actually pointed to triumphrat.net) be removed, at this stage Davo and myself are no longer delegates to the MCC NSW.

If you wish either of us - or any other delegates to go to the meeting (and remain on delegates email list), ratscafe would have to request membership.

Process doesn't hurt much and is quite simple.

1. Decide if you want to join - I suggest a poll.

2. If Poll successful draft letter to MCC listing your delegates, poll results, brief overview of ratscafe etc - best to have three delegates so you get good coverage.
