PN.X23 and PN.X85 are the same numbers for Bonnie, America, Scrambler, Thruxton, Tiger 955 and Speedmaster. So they will be Ok mate. I am gonna grab a set as well at that price. _________________ www.ratscafe.org

Most likely Chinese made & not something I'd risk my life with I'm afraid, brakes are a primary safety device and not something to be trying to save a few penny's on in my opinion.
You can get EBC pads quite cheap on Amazon, last time I ordered I got 2 x sets HH fronts & 3 x sets organic rears delivered for AU$165 the lot. |

Take your point mate. But last set I bought for $15 from a company on Ebay were german made and organic. And these days most genuine or recommended parts are just as likely to be made in China as well.
I tend to use feedback from others as my guide, and there is over 12000 positives on this seller.
I am still using the set on front disc I purchased BTW and stilll have plenty of pad left. Cant say the same re recommended back pad from MCA. But Rotor was pretty stuffed on the back TBH
Reading the descripton on Ebay it does state "Product comform to ISO9002 and QS9000 quality manufacturing standards, and have been developed to meet and exceed the specifications of original equipment manufacturer"
Does not say where made tho _________________ www.ratscafe.org

If you guys are getting good service from them that's great although I'm still not convinced I'd risk it for the sake of saving $15 on an item that lasts 15,000 to 30,000K's in service. I've personally experienced what happens if the pad material separates from the steel backing and it wasn't fun at all.
Tyres, brakes, chains & sprockets and oil & filters are things I won't scrimp on. I'll do all I can to find a given part at the cheapest price but not if there's a potential loss of quality and particularly not if I'm potentially putting my arse on the line.
Different strokes for different folks I guess. |
