Quote: | Jenny Morris was in Bands prior to her solo career. She was in Spats and The Crocadiles.
What other members of these bands went on to become famous in their own rights, both in music and acting?
Jenny Morris had a sister who was a well known entertainer in her own right, in NZ in the late 70's/early 80's.
What was her stage name? |
Dont think this one was answered
Gave answer away a bit quick pazz lol Not that I knew it. Must have been too young
So anyone else have any trivia? _________________ http://www.ratscafe.org

Oh I thought the whao its all over "the bikey shed" was the answer.
Golden miles sounds interesting
Quote: | I finally found a recording of the song "Golden Miles" on this album which strangely enough just happens to be the name of the album.
Golden Miles - Australian Progressive Rock 1969-1974. Raven Records 1994.
A collection of 30 songs from: Healing Force - (Golden Miles) Fraternity - (Seasons of Change), Bakery, Masters Apprentices, Tamman Shud, Tully, Daddy Cool, Spectrum, Company Caine, Blackfeather, Madder Lake, Mackenzie Theory, Buffalo, Sons of the Vegetal Mother, Pirana, Jeff St John, Fanny Adams (Doug Parkinson's band) and many more.
Takes me right back with the music's experimental-long-haired-hippy-free-love- communal-living feeling, and the experimental electric guitars and organs. There are a lots of bluesy undertones with a few Doug Parkinson sound-alike lead singers.
The quality is a bit flat on some of the recordings but that is to be expected as the technology then, like the music, was a bit primitive.
Glen A Baker has provided the historical text and photos of some of the groups in the inserted booklet.
A nice piece of Aussie music history.Three stars. |
yer idea is people are spose to answer if know or add another one _________________ www.ratscafe.org

Who are The Kills?
Never heard of them!
If you give me a track listing I can maybe find out as I can preview video clips on iTunes.

I have done a google search to find song name and never found the answer!
If know it, feel free to tell mate. Would like to watch video on utube
Think Davros question still not answered either BTW
Quote: | I used to watch GTK on the ABC (1969-1975)
[around the same time as "Bellbird"]
There was a short musical TV series run in 1970.
The show was set in Medieval Times.
Stars of the show were The Bee Gees.
OK, question: What was the name of the show??
Hint - Name of the show is same answer as answer to...
"Which is the only Bee Gees album without Robin Gibb on it?"
No cheating. Wait for some sad olde phart like meselfs to get it. |
