It is nice Boof but for whatever reason I am not so keen on OIF
Now this I like
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180810525298&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1123
Nice mostly original 1966 Lightning. The engine, gearbox and clutch are in excellent condition. The lights, instruments and charging system are in good working order.
I have serviced and tuned this bike it runs and rides well, excellent rally or club bike.
Frame number A65L 13770
Engine Number A65LA 11237-Y
And I also liked this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190630720634?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Which went for $6400!
Up for auction is this 1969 T120R Triumph Bonneville, DU89911 it is a personal import by myself from the states, all up shipping from one side of the states to the other, then on to Australia from Long Beach CAL, insurance’s and the bike cost me just under 8000.00 to import, i have all the receipts and the Australian government import approval, so registering the bike won’t be a problem, the bike has been fitted with a new wiring harness, new coils, new mufflers, and new tyres the rims are original Dunlop Made in England rims, overall the bike is in great condition, it is however missing the horn, the engine number is du70767 and runs strong and starts normally 2 to 3rd kick, i sent the Speedo and tacho over to a guy i know in Portland USA and he completely rebuilt them, he did a great job on them they look new, that’s why the Speedo now reads zero miles, i didn’t take and notice what miles were on the Speedo before i sent it to him but in guessing it would not have been original anyway
Admittedly its not matching numbers. But i could live with that. And I would eventually repaint in Olympic flame as that was my fav colour. If could afford it or he took my offer of a swap i would have been very happy
